Join us at Barbour House in beautiful Gunning for a hands-on cheese making class designed especially for beginners and lovers of cheese. It’s creative, it’s delicious, and yes — you’ll be taking home your very own handmade cheeses. The Plan for the Day Time: 10:00am – around 4:00ish When: Classes available Saturday or Sunday minimum of four people maximum of six Where: Barbour House, Gunning NSW - 45 minutes from Canberra and 30 minutes from Goulburn Here’s how your cheesy adventure unfolds: • Learn the basics (no experience needed!) • Make two different cheeses from scratch • Cut curds, stir whey, mold and shape like a pro • Discover tips and tricks to recreate the magic at home • Taste, laugh, learn and enjoy the process Expect a relaxed country vibe with plenty of guidance and encouragement along the way. What’s Included • All ingredients and equipment • Step-by-step instructions • Morning tea • A light lunch including a glass of wine • Afternoon tea cheese platter with wine • Recipes and notes to take home • The cheeses you make - about 1 Kg of cheese Just remember to bring containers to take your cheese home. You will definitely want to show off your creations. There is a limited supply of cheese making kits to purchase should you want to try it at home.
